The Fieldstone Men's GAP teams opened their year this weekend with matches on both Saturday and Sunday. Fieldstone's first team faced off against teams from the Country Club of Scranton and Philmont Country Club while our second team faced off against teams from Aronimink Golf Club and Kennett Square Country Club. On Saturday Fieldstone's first team, competing in the A Division of the GAP team matches, dropped their match to the Country Club of Scranton by a total of 34.5 to 19.5 A similar result was in store again on Sunday as Fieldstone fell 35 to 19 to Philmont CC. The second team from Fieldstone lost a tight first match to Aronimink Golf Club on Saturday 29 to 25. Things were not as close on Sunday as Fieldstone team 2 fell to the Kennett Square Country Club 37.5 to 16.5. Week 3 matches will take place in 2 weeks on Sunday, May 1st.
