Thank you to all those who attended the annual Rules of Golf "Kickoff" Clinic on Wednesday night.  Kirby Martin, Director of Competitions for the Golf Association of Philadelphia gave great insight into the new rules changes for 2016 which included insight into Rule 14.1b, which prevents a player from Anchoring the Club.  If you missed the clinic please feel free to stop by the golf shop for further clarification on any questions you may have regarding the Rules of Golf.

Preseason Rules of Golf Clinic a Success

 

This past Wednesday, Fieldstone welcomed guest speaker Kirby Martin, the Director of Competitions for the Golf Association of Philadelphia, to discuss the Rules of Golf.  The forty plus Fieldstone members in attendance were treated to a wealth of knowledge that will be sure to serve them well as the 2015 golf season is fast approaching.  Kirby has officiated many USGA events most recently having served as a rules official locally at the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club.  Thank you to all those who attended.
